How we worked it out, which you can change too
We assume the practice consults on days a month, that the scribe saves minutes of writing a consult, and that an hour of a vet’s time costs the practice £. About in every hundred consults leave a charge off the bill, worth £ on average, and in every hundred missed callers wanted to book.

Pricing questions
Why per vet?
Because that is how the work grows. A practice pays for the vets who consult, and everyone who supports them, nurses, reception and managers, uses Vetdost free.
Is the AI worth the extra £30 a vet?
For most practices, yes. The scribe saves a few minutes on every consult, and the calculator above shows what that is worth on your own numbers. You can start on Essentials and add the AI later, from that month.
What does the setup fee cover?
Moving your records from your old system, building your website, and training your team before you go live. It is £495 once, and free when you pay yearly.
Is there a contract?
Paying monthly, there is a twelve month minimum, then it rolls month to month. Paying yearly, you pay for ten months and get twelve. There is never an exit fee.
Can the AI ever cost us more?
No. The AI is part of the Professional price. There is a fair use allowance, shown in Setup, set well above what a practice uses.
Is there VAT on top?
Not at the moment. Vetdost is not registered for VAT, so the price you see is the price you pay.
